If you've always wanted to learn flamenco, now is your chance! All ages, all levels. Studio Casa de Flamenco, led by Linda "La Flamenca" Gallegos, is a group of students and apprentices of the flamenco dance art in El Paso, Texas. Learn about the art of flamenco dance in group or private setting from established flamenco dancer and El Paso native Linda 'la Flamenca' Gallegos. All skill levels and ages are welcome and no dance experience is required. Linda teaches advanced, intermediate and beginner choreography and technique. CLASS SCHEDULE:
Intro for Adults - 5:30 Thursdays Beginning Adults - 5:30 Thursdays Intermediate Adults - 6:30 Thursdays Intermediate Adults - 7:30 Thursdays Advanced Adults - 7:30 Thursdays Flamenco 4 Tots "Small Fries" - 4:30 Fridays Flamenco 4 Kids "Buds" - 5:30 Fridays Intro for Adults Covers basic footwork, rhythm, palmas and basic choreography. 55 min class. (3-6 months to learn) Beginning Adults Expands on the choreography, technique, arms, marking steps and footwork. 55 min class. (1-2 years to learn) Intermediate/Advanced Adults Incorporates technique, arms, marking steps, and footwork into contratiempo and more complex combinations of choreography. A variety of flamenco rhythms will be covered. 55 min class. Flamenco 4 Tots "Small Fries" (3-4 years old) Basic flamenco dance concepts and body movements add up to a simple dance piece. This class also covers culture, geography, and vocabulary in a fun and friendly atmosphere. 45 min class. Flamenco 4 Kids "Buds" (5-12 years old) Flamenco choreography that incorporates rhythm, footwork and arms. Basic drums and cante (singing) are also included in a fun and friendly atmosphere. 55 min class TUITION$45 per/mo* Intro for Adults
